Early Life and Background

Chioma Lynda Onwuka, popularly known as CLO, is a distinguished Serial Entrepreneur, Author, Humanitarian, Motivational Speaker, and Model, whose journey reflects resilience, purpose, leadership, and a commitment to creating meaningful impact.

Born on November 20, 1989, in Agulu, Anambra State, Nigeria, Chioma is the daughter of Mr. Christian Chukwudum Onwuka and Princess Ugochi Gift Onwuka. She is the second child and second daughter in a family of eight.

Although born in Anambra State, Chioma spent her formative years in Aba, Abia State, where she was raised and shaped by experiences that would later influence her entrepreneurial journey, leadership philosophy, humanitarian service, and passion for empowering others.

Chioma Lynda Onwuka is also the Founder of the CLO Foundation, established in 2008 as a platform dedicated to humanitarian service, social development, and community impact. Over the years, the Foundation has implemented extensive humanitarian initiatives across Nigeria and beyond, with its programmes aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Her sustained commitment to humanitarian service and advocacy has earned her recognition both nationally and internationally. In recognition of her contributions to humanitarian affairs, she was appointed Special Envoy to the President on Humanitarian Affairs by the World Humanity Commission (WHC). Her humanitarian interventions during the COVID-19 pandemic further distinguished her work and earned her several international recognitions and awards.

CLO represented Delta State in the Miss Culture Nigeria Beauty Pageant, where she emerged as the winner in 2011. Following her national victory, she represented Nigeria at the Miss United Nations International Pageant in 2012, further placing her on an international platform.

Beyond the glamour and recognition of pageantry, CLO used her reign as a platform for purpose, advocacy, and humanitarian service, undertaking numerous initiatives that positively impacted communities and individuals. Her passion for pageantry has continued beyond her reign, establishing her as a respected figure in the industry as a Pageant Organizer, Coach, Judge, Mentor, and Keynote Speaker.

Through her Executive Training Program at CLO Business School, Chioma Lynda Onwuka equips young people, aspiring entrepreneurs, and business owners with practical knowledge, strategic insights, and essential skills required to build sustainable ventures and excel professionally.
